Jessica + Chris | Starrsville Plantation, Covington, Ga Wedding

About a year ago, during our first wedding consult, I met Jessica and her now sister-in-law, Toya. The two engaged ladies were both in full swing of planning their weddings. I photographed Jessica's brother, Morgan and Toya's wedding just last year. It has been so fun working with their family and I was thrilled to get to work with them again just last weekend during Jessica and Chris' gorgeous Starrsville Plantation wedding! Their family is so close! I love this about them. I love that when Jessica and her dad had their "first look" his smile was from ear to ear the entire time! I love that when Jessica walked down the isle, Chris about lost it! I love that Jessica's parents always ask me to take a photograph of them - they are the sweetest couple and I am sure the most incredible role models for their children to look up to.

Jessica's father's speech was too sweet and it brought me to tears too! He talked about how when Jessica was a little girl she would play kitchen under the dogwood tree in their back yard and her mom would watch her from their kitchen window. One day Jessica's mom, Mrs. Cindy, was out by that dogwood gardening and she found one of Jessica's little kitchen pots. I am sure this flooded her mind with memories of when her daughter was just a little one. Her dad also mentioned that when Jessica was little she gave him some cute little coupons for things like a back scratching, foot rub and one for "no more complaining". Ha! Apparently he had redeemed them all but the "no more complaining" coupon. During his speech, her dad pulls out the "no more complaining" coupon and hands it over to Chris! So cute!

Lauren + Matt | Lake Oconee, Georiga Wedding

I totally started freaking out about a week before Lauren + Matt's wedding day. . .The rain! Oh my, there was a high, high chance of rain scheduled on the day of their outdoor wedding. When we arrived at De Casa Banana II, a beautiful home located on Lake Oconee,  it was all sunshine. . .and smoke! lol The fire department was called and the flames from the yard down the road were extinguished before the smoke effected any of the events of their beautiful day! For Lauren's decor, she incorporated subtle hints from the movie, Beauty and the Beast. Lauren is a huge Disney fan and it was the perfect touch!

Allie + Shane | The Mill at Yellow River Wedding, Porterdale, Ga.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Allie + Shane for just over a year now. I met Allie while photographing her friend, my neighbor, Cailey during her maternity boudoir session. We three (well FOUR! Can't forget baby girl Brooklyn in her mama's belly!) had so much fun that day! A couple of weeks later, Allie asked me if I would be her and Shane's wedding photographer. . .I was very excited to accept! Then I met Shane and learned more about their love story. These two and the love they have for one another is incredible. I've had so much fun getting to know them and helping them with their wedding photography. Allie + Shane's wedding day was beyond fabulous! The 1920's glamorous theme can be found in all the little details. From the invitations to the sparkly headpieces her ladies adorned. The team that Allie + Shane assembled, rocked their talents! Several of their vendors are also their friends and that made it so much more special. AND, isn't Allie's grown to die for?! Lazaro, the designer himself drew up a sketch of Allie in this gown! How awesome!

Rachel + Jason | Madison, Ga. Wedding

The weekend before Thanksgiving, we met Rachel + Jason in Madison at the Madison Baptist Church for a spectacular day! When we arrived, Miriam and I fell in love with the gorgeous garland that Rachel and her friends made of magnolia leaves and other evergreens that decorated the outside and inside of the church. It added a perfect festive look! Rachel + Jason's first look was so sweet. When Jason turned around to see his bride in her gorgeous gown, the wind was breezing through her veil and she was smiling from ear to ear. During their ceremony they had an event painter, Elaine Oye Burge, that captured them standing at the alter so colorfully!

Their reception was a full on party! The live band, City Heat Band, kept it going all night long! Their guests danced the night away in celebration of Rachel + Jason's big day.

Winn + David | Burge Plantation, Mansfield, Ga Wedding

Pumpkins, puppies and LOTS of happiness! What a day it was for Winn + David! When we first arrived at Burge Plantation we were greeted with beautiful pumpkins - EVERY WHERE! It was so gorgeous and festive! Winn's dad grew them at their family farm in Culloden, Ga. where Winn grew up. As we made our way into the main house I could hear Winn's infectious laugh and that lead me straight to our gorgeous bride. Winn's dress is one of a kind! She designed her beautiful gown and it looked so grand on her. Her cathedral length veil + blue heals finished her look perfectly. I remember when it was time for David + Winn's first look, seeing her walking to him down the back staircase into his arms as the wind gentle blew her veil around them. I pretty much lost it with the tears. It was so beautiful!

During their ceremony, their sweet pups, Riley + Gunny made their way down the isle greeting guests with sniffs. Winn's laugh was in the air and the two became husband and wife. As they walked up the isle their guests cheered and threw bird seed in celebration!

Winn drifted across the dance floor during her and David's romantic first dance. When it came to her and her daddy's first dance, they got a little funky with it! So funky that Winn ended up on the floor! Thankfully it was a gentle fall and her daddy was right their to pick her back up and hug her.

Their reception was full of celebration with dancing and an awesome band that kept the crowd going all night long. I couldn't help but dance a little while photographing! Congratulations Winn + David!!!
